The murder of Nigerian migrant, Emmanuel Chidi Nnamdi who was beaten to death in a racist attack is currently trending across Italy. Prime Minister Matteo Renzi took to Twitter to condemn the "hatred, racism and violence".

Laura Bolderini, president of the chamber of deputies, spoke of her dismay and outrage on hearing the news that the Nigerian was killed because of "hatred, racism and xenophobia"
