Another tragedy evaded as 273 African migrants are rescued today in the Mediterranean
At least 273 lives were rescued by the Migrant Offshore Station (MOAS) responder crew this morning, September 14th. Despite the boats having taken on a lot of water and the African migrants falling into the sea, MOAS search-and-rescue crew was quick to deploy the CentiFloat in order to avoid another tragedy.

Rapper Bobby Shmurda agrees to plea deal on conspiracy charges, to serve 7 years in prison
Rapper Bobby Shmurda, 22, will be serving a minimum of 7 years in prison after he agreed to a plea deal on charges of conspiracy and possession of a weapon.
Bobby had a choice to turn down the plea deal and go on trial but if he'd been found guilty, he would have been sentenced to decades in jail, so he instead took the advise of his lawyer.

North Korea's dictator and supreme leader Kim Jong-Un has banned his citizens from making sarcastic remarks about his regime or government as a mocking expression 'a fool who cannot see the outside world' is said to be circulating rapidly in North Korea
Satire directed towards the regime and even indirect criticisms of leadership will not be forgiven. Mass meetings organized by central government authorities have been used to issue the warnings.
22-year-old student shot and killed in Brooklyn after she told male dancer to stop grinding against her
A 22-year-old American college student was fatally shot in the face at the J’Ouvert festival in Brooklyn after she told a man to stop grinding against her.
St. John’s University student Tiarah Poyau was walking the pre-West Indian Day Parade route with three friends early Monday when she was accosted and told the man, "Get off me.’ Her friends, who were walking ahead of her at around 4:15 a.m., then heard a shot and saw her fall at Empire Boulevard and Franklin Avenue.
Poyau had been shot in the eye at close range.

Spanish inventors create hands-free urinal for men
Three Spanish engineers from Valencia have invented a hands-free urinal for men dubbed the 'penis-bidet' and it comes complete with soap and drier. The Urinal 2.0 will wash and dry genitals after every trip to the toilet. Sensors in the machine detect when the men are done splashing before dousing the private parts with a three-second spray of soapy water.

The Lagos state command is currently investigating the general overseer of 'Tongue of Fire Restoration Ministry' for a case of abduction, defilement and abortion. In an effort to rubbish claims of abuse made by an ex, a millionaire has released a video footage which shows the woman hitting herself in a rage.

Black schoolgirls in South Africa protest after being told to straighten their hair
Pretoria Girls High School is facing a furious backlash after instructing black school pupils to straighten their hair. Black school girls claim that they have been subjected to racism and that their blackness has been discouraged. They added that school rules forbid African hairstyles such as afro, Bantu knots, dreadlocks and braids.
